Come join us for a diving vacation in the Akumal, Mexico!

Akumal means "place of the turtle" (as the beaches are lined with turtle nests each spring) and is located 65 miles south of  Cancun on the Yucatan Coast. The Yucatan is noted for its famous underground water clarity and cenote (cavern) formations, which are open fresh water pools that connect to other submerged caverns and caves.

There are currently over 90 different cave systems in this area and you can experience them first hand on this amazing trip! And the best part is that you don’t need any special training to dive cenotes, other than your enthusiasm and an Open Water Diver certification.

All accommodation boasts a spectacular view of the white sand beach and Caribbean Sea, with quick access to the shallow house reef for easy beach entry snorkeling. The Mesoamerican Reef system stretches over 625 miles of coastline spanning eastern coasts of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras, offering vibrant and spectacular coral reefs, teeming with colorful fish, coral, lobsters, conch, turtles and other marine life. This trip will combine reef diving with cenote diving, giving you the best of both worlds!
