Divers who prefer to dive without booties can still enjoy the performance benefits of the award-winning Seawing Nova fin with the SEAWING NOVA FULL-FOOT. This fin offers all the power, acceleration, maneuverability and effortless kicking characteristics of the open-heel Seawing Nova, but with the foot support and comfort of a full-foot design.
Made of modern Monprene and spotlighting its proprietary G4 (4th Generation) articulated hinge that enables the entire wing-shaped blade to pivot and generate thrust, the SEAWING NOVA FULL-FOOTproduces a propulsive snap that can rocket you through open water at top speed or propel you along reefs or in and out of tight spots with total control. Able to chew up the competition when kicked in turbo mode, theSEAWING NOVA FULL-FOOT also excels in low-speed maneuvering, including frog kicks and reverse kicks, and offers improved handling when making small directional adjustments. And it’s able to do all this with little to no ankle or leg strain.
The SEAWING NOVA FULL-FOOT’s ergo-fit foot pocket is low profile to prevent chaffing and blistering on the ankle and Achilles tendon, and it features Power Rails under its extended footplate for efficient power transfer, plus an extended toe box for comfort. A re-engineered heel pad, mid-sole pad, and rough surface design provide better grip on slippery boat decks or dive ladders.
Cressi – Gara 300 LD Freediving Fins
The structure of the Gara 3000 LD is identical to the greatly-appreciated Gara 3000, but the material of the blade, which is softer, is what makes them stand out.
The LD in the 3000 LD stands for Long Distance, indicating the main use of the product, and these fins have emerged from the need to offer enthusiasts increasingly powerful fins, which are however less demanding than the Gara 3000 fins.
Less muscle effort is required for kicking so divers can use them for longer, making them perfect to use many hours in a row.
The softer blade is also very suitable for use in cold water, which is notorious for its tendency to stiffen materials and make them less flexible.
Cressi – Gara Modular Carbon Blade (Single)
$229.95 – $239.95
Directional camouflage carbon blade to ensure the thrust that only composite fibers can deliver.
An interchangeable blade which is very lightweight and reactive and also well-adapted for advanced freediving and spearfishing.
Each sold seperatly.
Cressi – Gara Modular Carbon Freediving Fins
$519.95 – $529.95
The Gara Modular Carbon fins use the same foot pocket module as the standard modular fins but with a composite carbon fibre blade finished in a directional camouflage green.
The carbon fibre blade provides a stiff but lightweight blade for excellent propulsion for the advanced diver.
The modular design is also perfect for travelling, allowing the fins to be disassembled and packed into shorter travel bags and reassembled at the destination.
The foot pockets use a soft rubber around the foot and arch for comfort and a stiffer compound along the sides and traction pads for efficient power transfer.
The foot pocket also features an expansion zone on the top of the pocket that expands and contracts to allow the fins to be worn barefoot in warmer climates or with socks in cooler waters without the need to have a different size fin.
Cressi – Reaction Open-Heel Fins
Reaction is the most recent of the Cressi scuba diving fins, and takes advantage of the exclusive Cressi patented technology of moulding in three materials, to guarantee unequalled performance.
Reaction takes up many of the innovative features already introduced in Rondine A: the blade that emerges right along the side of the footing, the differentiated thickness of the blade, the frames made from two materials, the sole made completely from a non-slip material, the very comfortable computer-designed housing of the foot and the innovative buckles to prevent accidental unbuckling.
To all these excellent features, Reaction adds a new, longer, more flexible and lighter blade that provides excellent thrust with minimum muscle fatigue and the smallest expenditure of energy.
The result is the perfect fin for modern divers, beginners or professionals; light, easy to use, not very tiring, but fins that can also provide excellent thrust, which makes it possible to safely deal with even the most critical underwater diving situations.
Aqua Lung – Express SS
The heart of the Express ADJ is a highly elastic “armadillo” hinge at the base of the blade. Like the Power Bands of the Slingshot, it absorbs energy during the power stroke and releases at the end of the kick cycle to maximize thrust. These open-heel fins are an excellent choice for cold and temperate water divers who need a powerful, compact blade.
Armadillo membrane at the base of the blade absorbs energy during the down stroke, and releases prior to the upstroke for a power boost on every kick.
Rubber side ribs channel water down the length of the fin, minimizing wasted energy from the spill-over effect.
A Mid-foot Flex Joint is used to attach the blade to the side of the foot pocket. This maximizes energy transfer and reduces strain on the ankles and toes.
ESBS (Ergonomic Strap and Buckle System) uses a press-to-release button that is easily operated, even while wearing thick gloves.
Rubber heel straps are made with anti-aging compounds and have large finger loops at each end and in the middle for easy donning, even when wearing heavy gloves.
Streamlined foot pocket provides an ergonomic fit for excellent energy transfer and accommodates a wide range of dive boots.
Anti-slip rubber pads on the bottom of the foot pocket give traction for moving around on boat decks.
Colors: Black/Orange, Black/Blue, Black/Pink, Black and White Arctic
Aqua Lung – Shot FX Lady Open Heel Fins
Part of the Aqua Lung Women’s Collection, the Shot FX Fins have taken technologies proven successful with the SlingShot and Hotshot fins and incorporated them into a women’s specific fin. The foot pockets are specifically sized for women and the blade stiffness increases with size. This offers women divers their choosing of blade stiffness, depending on their style of diving. Other innovations, such as the mid-foot pivot to eliminate foot and toe fatigue often experienced by divers and the “Power Transmission Zone” for efficient kicking. Shot FX comes standard with the Aqua Lung Spring Straps, with a soft TPR heel pad, for easy don and doffing. This fin is the ultimate in hybrid technologies, offering an easy kicking fin for your dives while providing optimal power with each kick.
The Power Zone, located in front of the foot pocket, features integrated “V Boosters”, providing optimal power with each kick
The Power Zone provides the diver a mid-foot pivot point on the fin, minimizing fatigue and maximizing energy transfer to the blade
The foot pocket’s design, compounds and sizing are dedicated to women’s feet resulting in greater comfort
The Shot FX has a dedicated blade that is shorter and softer than traditional fins. This makes them easier to kick
A new spring strap offers a soft heel pad along with Aqua Lung’s own proprietary buckles
The foot pocket is equipped with the “Power Transmission Zone”. This anchors the foot preventing unnecessary stretching of the foot pocket on the power stroke resulting in maximum energy transmission
The blade contains a high performance elastomer resulting in high efficiency
An elastic blade insert creates a “spoon effect” that pushes more water with each down stroke adding to efficiency
A customized inner sole provides a grip effect. This prevents wasting power from the boot moving laterally inside the boot pocket
• Orthopedic foot pocket • Rugged, durable construction • Good thrust in an economical fin
Avanti Tre fins features a soft anatomical foot pocket and mid-sized blade with three channels for optimal movement of water during the kicking cycle, perfect when traveling to warm water locations. Upper and lower stabilizers help transfer energy from the foot pocket to the blade, macking it easy to kick for extended snorkeling time.
The ultimate Channel Thrust fin for speed, power and fun in the water
• Ideal for both scuba and apnea • Channel Thrust technology for optimum performance • Rubberized side ribs
The best all-around full foot fins for diving. The Avanti Quattro Power fins is perfect for warm water divers, snorkelers and free divers that want ultimate power, comfort and speed. The choice of demanding scuba and free divers. Comfort combined with extraordinary performance.
