This course is conducted in our 5 meters deep pool, the Etobicoke Olympium, every Monday night from 9-10:30pm.
It is taught by specialty instructors who have cultivated the necessary skills and habits that are required and used to get the perfect trim.
They cover the importance of choosing proper diving equipment and how various equipment affects your buoyancy.
You will learn in detail on the physics behind buoyancy, how a BCD can affect your buoyancy, and the science behind different fin designs.
In the pool, you will learn to use proper breathing techniques, practice good body motion, finning backwards, proper equipment fitting and weighting, and performing all the basic skills you have learned in your Open Water course while neutrally buoyant and in proper trim position.
- To enroll in this course, divers must have a minimum of Open Water Diver certification and be 15 years old.
