            Product Description

Features an innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust system (DCE). This system gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. This gives the user a choice, wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference (essential for underwater photography) and narrow exhaust tee for a smaller compact comfortable regulator. The regulator is supplied with both sets of exhaust tees.

An optional 5th port is available which features the additional bonus of an integrated heat exchanger (available on the Tungsten, XTX200 and XTX100 first stages).

Can be converted from a right-handed hose configuration to a left-handed one. The process of changing the regulator to a left-handed configuration is both quick and simple. However this procedure must ONLY be performed by an APEKS Authorised Service Technician.

Available in yoke or DIN configuration.

Braided flexi-hoses are now standard on all models. These hoses are lighter weight, more flexible and more durable.

            Suitable for coldwater use (below 10 C / 50 F).

Compatible with EAN40 out of the box.

            First Stage:

            • FSR style first stage.
            • Highly polished bright chrome plating.
            • Compact one piece body.
            • 4 angled medium pressure ports, 4 x 3/8” UNF.
            • 2 angled high pressure ports, 2 x 7/16” UNF.
            • Optional 5th port.
            • Removable ARCAP valve seat.
            • Unique over-balanced, diaphragm design – as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth.
            • An environmental dry system keeps water out of the main spring chamber thus preventing ice buildup and keeping silt and contamination out

            Second Stage

            • Pneumatically-balanced second stage results in smooth, easy breathing.
            • The XTX purge buttons are large and easy to operate. A 2-stage progressive purge is used – press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful where more control is required such as filling lift bags etc, then press in the centre for the full effect of the purge, i.e. when regulator clearing etc.
            • The large venturi lever has a soft touch rubber grip, which makes it easier to locate and use. The lever reduces the amount of grit ingress and therefore resists any possible friction giving a smooth operation.
            • Easy-to-grip opening effort control knob keeps the diver in control.
            • The second stage is manufactured with active protection against infection as all molded parts are produced with an additive that kills MRSA, protects against E-Coli, bacteria and fungi, and is also very effective against viruses, mould, yeast and algae.
            • A silicone exhaust valve improves the breathing performance of the regulator.
            • The Comfo-bite™ mouthpiece virtually eliminates jaw-fatigue.
            • A heat exchanger (patented) which surrounds the valve mechanism, dissipates the cold caused by gas expansion while drawing in the warmth of the ambient water.

            • ScubaPro – MK17 EVO/G260 Regulator

              $859.99

If you dive deep, dive cold, or often find yourself on silty bottoms or in less-than-pristine waters, theMK17/G260 is the reg system for you.

The MK17 is a high performance, balanced diaphragm first stage engineered specifically for cold water and harsh environments. Completely sealed off from the elements, neither water nor pollution can get inside the chrome-plated marine grade brass body to foul the inner mechanism. This total sealing system also allows for a dry ambient pressure chamber which works to prevent freezing, so you can be assured of trouble-free operation even in the coldest conditions.

The MK17 delivers fast and reliable airflow with every breath, plus it’s user-friendly, offering two high pressure and four low pressure ports, two of which are high-flow (high-flow ports deliver about 15 percent more air than conventional low pressure ports). It also comes with an external intermediate pressure adjustment that allows technicians to maintain peak performance between service intervals without having to break down the first stage.

The venerable G260 is the most imitated air balanced second stage design of all time. First introduced in 1986 as the G250, it was the first regulator to introduce an adjustable Venturi Initialed Vacuum Assist (VIVA). Today’s modern version features metal components (inlet tube, orifice, inhalation control knob and hose connector) for excellent cold-water performance. It also offers a left-right hose attachment option, making it a great choice for tech diving configurations.

While you don’t need cold water or a harsh ocean environment to appreciate this reg, the MK17/G260was built for demanding divers and demanding conditions. Ideally suited to technical diving as well as cave diving, with every breath you take you can be guaranteed top-of-the-line performance.
