              FEATURES

              FIRST STAGE
First Stage Available in yoke or DIN configuration. Suitable for cold water use (below 10°C / 50°F) Unique over-balanced diaphragm design – as the diver descends, the over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure gas in the hose to increase at a faster rate than ambient. This results in superior performance at depth. Over-moulded innovative endcap and environmental diaphragm, a forged 1st stage body offering maximum thermal performance. The 5th 3/8” UNF medium pressure port includes a protective bumper when not in use. Forged first stage body with heat exchanging ribs for maximum thermal performance. Angled HP ports for optimal hose routing and fitting of transmitters. Forged rotating turret with medium pressure ports in a parallel direction for improved hose orientation. Ribbed diaphragm clamp for improved heat exchange in cold water conditions. Double swivel hose for greater freedom of movement and comfort. Tested for Octopus use – EN250A cold water. Nitrox/Oxygen compatible – Up to 40% O² outside the EU (European Union), within the EU anything above 21% O² must use an M26 Connection.

              SECOND STAGE
Second stages Simple to use with no dive controls, pre-settable cracking effort or venturi control by an Apeks approved qualified technician. High performance pneumatically balanced lever operated poppet valve. Large diver friendly self-flushing controllable purge button. Front cover with over-moulded elastomer bumpers incorporates a formed chrome plated brass plate improving durability of the demand valve. Large protective elastomer bumpers on the side and on the top to protect the demand valve from impacts and scratches in the most vulnerable places. Reversible second stage for either a left or right-hand gas supply. Hard wearing, satin chrome. All gas contact moulded parts are produced using an active protection additive that kills MRSA, protects against E-Coli, bacteria and fungi, and is also very effective against viruses, mold, yeast and algae. Large heat exchanger fitted to help reduce second stage freezing. Nitrox/Oxygen compatible

                $450.00

Intro to Technical Diving is an introductory course that expands on recreational training by improving dive planning methods, in-water skills, and streamlining existing gear configurations in a controlled and fun learning environment.

              • Sidemount Diver

                $299.00 – $499.00

Having scuba tanks on your back isn’t a requirement for exploring the underwater world. Many scuba divers have discovered the joy of mounting cylinders on their sides. Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. Plus, you don’t have to walk with heavy cylinders on your back – just enter the water, clip them on and go. Sound interesting? Sign up for the Sidemount Diver Specialty course.

If you’re an Open Water Diver who is at least 15 years old, you can enroll in a Sidemount Diver course.

The TDI Sidemount Diver Course is the ideal specialty for any diver wishing to use this increasingly popular equipment configuration; either as a stand-alone course OR in conjunction with one of TDI’s other open circuit technical specialties such as Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, Trimix, Advanced Trimix, and Advanced Wreck. If this course is combined, the requirements for BOTH courses must be met. The TDI Sidemount Diver course teaches students how to utilize side-mounted primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back-mounted method.

              • Decompression Procedures

                $599.00

Are you finding your no- decompression limits (NDLs) a limiting factor to dives? Do you have to ascend sooner than you would like? As sport divers, planned decompression is not something that we do or have been taught. The TDI Decompression Procedures Course prepares you for planned staged decompression diving. With a maximum operating depth of 45 metres/150 feet, this course is your first step beyond the normal sport diving limits. The TDI Decompression Procedures Course combined with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course form the foundation of all other technical courses. After these two courses and some additional experience, the stage has been set for you to move onto additional technical levels.
