OPEN WATER INSTRUCTORS

Sol

Sol’s first scuba dive was in Costa Rica’s Bay of Whales in May, 2012. His first thought once he got underwater was “why the heck did I wait so long to try this?”

Since then, he has dived locally in Humber Bay, Kingston, Brockville, and Tobermory, and made two trips to Roatan, Honduras, where, during his Wreck Diving specialty, a grumpy moray eel told him to “get off my lawn.”

Sol was certified as a PADI Instructor in May, 2015. He enjoys everything about it, but especially watching his students experience the same thrill he had on his first dive.

John
DSC03995

John was introduced to diving in 1984, obtaining his Open Water Certification while working part time for the National Yacht club in Toronto. He completed his Advanced Open Water a couple years later and hasn’t stopped diving since. He mostly enjoys warm water diving, but will occasionally dive cold water when he gets the itch to dive. His favourite diving destinations include Cozumel, Riviera Maya, Cenotes, and Cuba. In 2014, John decided to take his scuba diving to the next level, becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor. John simply loves to dive and wants others to experience what he has. Scuba is his passion and you will always find his courses filled with fun and laughter.
