The Apeks RK3 HD is the latest model in the RK3 range. It is made from a higher density (HD) than the standard RK3, which makes the fin stiffer and with negative buoyancy, ideal for wetsuit diving. The Apeks RK3 HD is a rugged thermoplastic rubber fin featuring an over-sized foot pocket to accommodate drysuit boots and a spring strap for easy donning and doffing.

            Product Description

            FEATURES & BENEFITS
Based on one of the first vented rubber fins sold in North America and popular among military and professional divers. Compact, and ultra-rugged for use in harsh environments. Improved foot pocket with spring straps for ease of use with cold hands or thick gloves. The design has been the standard gear issue fin for military, special ops, coast guard and public safety divers for decades. Short wide blade provides maximum forward thrust while maintaining great manoeuvrability. Vented blade design reduces resistance on the upstroke and enhances thrust on the downstroke. The vents also eliminate vortexes that can occur along the back of the blade much in the same way split fins eliminate the vortex. The blade material designed to hold up in the toughest environments, temperatures and abuse. Two large grommet holes designed to fit most karabiners for easy storage of the fins while accessing the dive site. Spring straps as standard. Custom designed buckle holds spring straps in optimum position. Simple push pin design allows simple replacement of springs if necessary.

              • Manufactured in Tecralene® for superior performance
              • Orthopedic foot pocket

Due to the compact length of the blade this is the ideal fin for travel and for dives in warm waters. • Cressi – Gara Modular Freediving Fins

              $229.95

An interchangeable blade which is very lightweight and reactive and also well-adapted for the most demanding of free-diving use.

              • Thanks to its specific and exclusive design, it’s more propulsive when passing through the leg-kick, which gives an optimum return of the blade.
              • The foot-pocket is very comfortable and comes in a composite material : soft rubber around the foot arch, and a rigid part along the sides and traction surface.
              • It’s ample fi ttings easily allows it to be worn with diving socks.

            • Cressi – Gara Modular Foot Pocket

              $129.95

Please keep in mind that these pockets are only available in pairs and a quantity of 1 is one pair of pockets.

New self Adjusting footpocket from Cressi, manufctured in 2 materials to enhance fit and performance. The footpocket uses the conventional small rail system to attach the footpocket tendons to the blade. The pocket is soft and comfortable. The sole is stiff and allows good power transfer to the blades. The footpocket tendons have moderate stiffness and offer good supprt to the blade without negatively affecting its flex pattern. The Cressi footpockets combine well with Speardiver carbon blades.

              Available sizes

              40-41 (7-8)
              42-43 (8-9)
              44-45 (10-11)
              46-47 (12-13)

              IMPORTANT NOTE:

These sizes reflect European and US numbers stated on the footpockets. The European size is correct, but the US size may not be accurate. It’s important to use the stated US sizes as a reference to the footpocket only, not necessarily to how it fits. For example the Cressi 42-43 size is stated as US 8-9, this is blatantly incorrect. The 42-43 fits a shoe size 11 foot (actual foot length 11″, width 4.25″) perfectly. Albeit it is a tad tight (not uncomfortable) width wise, which makes the Cressi footpockets nicely suitable for narrower feet.

            • Cressi – Gara 2000 HF Freediving Fins

              $199.95

The first fin in the world made by combining three different materials, a process that Cressi perfected and patented with this fin, which guarantees unsurpassable performance.

The blade is made from a special, incredibly reactive polypropylene, which is at the same time extremely light, and progressively charges up during the stride to take off like a spring at the exact moment the stride is inverted.

A soft elastomer anatomically wraps around the foot, blocking it with a comfortable bite, which guaranteesperfect transmission of the leg-fin thrust.

A suitably solid copolymer hardens some critical zones of the foot, and is extended along the sides in two lateral stringers, which go halfway along the blade.

The function of these stringers, assisted by special raised bands on the bottom of the blade, is to regulate and harmonise the bending, at the same time protecting it from shocks and abrasions.

The fins are extraordinarily light compared to equivalent models of rubber footed fins and reduces the inertial masses to the minimum, to the full advantage of the effort-efficiency ratio.

This fin is designed for deep skin-diving, although some Scuba professionals and instructors appreciate it a great deal.

            • ScubaPro – Seawing Nova Gorilla

              $299.99

The successor to the famous SCUBAPRO Gorilla fins of the 1980s, this new version of the award-winning Seawing Nova has been fine-tuned to provide a slight increase in stiffness and snap. They give you more power, more speed and even better frog-kick-ability while at the same time ensuring they still offer the legendary comfort and efficiency of Seawings! The GORILLAs are ideal for those diving in demanding conditions!

The secret to the Gorilla Nova design is the articulated joint that allows the blade to pivot allowing the entire blade to generate thrust. Pivot control technology ensures the most efficient angle of attack is maintained no matter how hard or softly you kick, generating thrust without drag or wasted energy. Gorilla Nova incorporates clean water blade geometry for optimum propulsion. Water is free to flow onto the working section of the blade, resulting in drag reduction and a thrust increase. Variable pivot control ribs insure that the most efficient angle of attack is maintained across all strengths of kick.

Comfort is felt with Gorilla’s ergonomic foot pocket with extended heel plate that insuring ultimate power transmission with less leg strain. Durable Monprene construction makes SeaWing virtually indestructible and wing tips arc upwards, increasing high-speed stability. The Fins have marine quality bungee heel strap with custom adjustment system for total comfort and convenience. Fins are available in four sizes from Small to X-Large and are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

            • ScubaPro – Seawing Nova Full Foot

              $199.99

Divers who prefer to dive without booties can still enjoy the performance benefits of the award-winning Seawing Nova fin with the SEAWING NOVA FULL-FOOT. This fin offers all the power, acceleration, maneuverability and effortless kicking characteristics of the open-heel Seawing Nova, but with the foot support and comfort of a full-foot design.

Made of modern Monprene and spotlighting its proprietary G4 (4th Generation) articulated hinge that enables the entire wing-shaped blade to pivot and generate thrust, the SEAWING NOVA FULL-FOOTproduces a propulsive snap that can rocket you through open water at top speed or propel you along reefs or in and out of tight spots with total control. Able to chew up the competition when kicked in turbo mode, theSEAWING NOVA FULL-FOOT also excels in low-speed maneuvering, including frog kicks and reverse kicks, and offers improved handling when making small directional adjustments. And it’s able to do all this with little to no ankle or leg strain.

The SEAWING NOVA FULL-FOOT’s ergo-fit foot pocket is low profile to prevent chaffing and blistering on the ankle and Achilles tendon, and it features Power Rails under its extended footplate for efficient power transfer, plus an extended toe box for comfort. A re-engineered heel pad, mid-sole pad, and rough surface design provide better grip on slippery boat decks or dive ladders.
