Atomic – SplitFins Open-Heel Fins
$249.95 – $309.95
Why SplitFins deliver more propulsion with less air consumption All it took was watching the tail fins of fish – except that we couldn’t keep up with them because our traditional fins took too much effort. Using hard kicking paddle fins can result in leg strain, fatigue and cramping. Because of the kick resistance of a paddle fin, divers often “felt” like they were moving fast. But underwater speedometers proved that these divers were actually moving relatively slow. SplitFins deliver more propulsion with less drag and kick with less effort. Reducing the stress and strain of the kick results in greater sustained speed, power and comfort. Independent testing has also confirmed that the SplitFin design significantly reduces air consumption.
Not all SplitFins are the same. Splitfins come in a variety of shapes, sizes and stiffness. These contribute greatly to overall comfort and performance. A fin with short, soft blades will kick easier than a longer, stiffer one, but will require many more kicks to travel the same distance. A blade that is too stiff will require too much effort to kick comfortably. The Atomic SplitFins were specifically designed to optimize all these variables. They are easy kicking fins that deliver high thrust, speed, and efficiency with a comfortable, low frequency kick cycle.
Atomic – Cobalt 2 Dive Computer
The Cobalt 2 is the newest release of Atomic Aquatics new generation of dive computers that are easy to use, easy to read and totally intuitive. The Cobalt 2 features a newer more powerful microprocessor, faster compass response and new user options such as auto screen brightness. User selectable gas switches are increased from 3 to six mixes. The menu driven display is self-explanatory at every level and can be mastered in just a few minutes. This simplicity is in contrast to its powerful capabilities and the many advanced user functions available to those who wish to use them. In addition, it uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery that will give the diver between 40 and 60 hours of dive time per charge and a charging adapter that gives the user the option of USB or AC sources.
Brilliant full color Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) display provides the high contrast, sharpness and brightness that can be viewed at almost any angle. The Upgrade for Smoother More-Responsive On-Board 3D Digital Compass makes Underwater Navigation Simple. Set-a-Course and Go, unlike most Digital Compasses, it will Remain Active until you choose to turn it off. The Cobalt includes a High Pressure Quick Disconnect that allows the Cobalt to be Removed-and-Carried-Separately from your Regulator System. The Cobalt is a Multi Gas Computer that can be set for any Air/NITROX Mix to 99% O2. Up to 6 Mixes can be preset for Easy Switching, including Gas Switches Underwater. The Dive Log and Planner are Powerful Tools that allow the easy Interactive Planning of almost any Dive, including Repetitive and Multi-Day Diving. The Logbook will store up to 600 hours of Detailed Dive Profile’s in Memory. The Algorithm used in Cobalt is the Recreational RGBM (Reduced Gradient Bubble Model) created exclusively for Atomic Aquatics by Dr. Bruce Wienke. The RGBM is designed to cover a Wide Spectrum of Diving Activities such as Bounce, Altitude, Decompression, Repetitive and Multi-Day. RGBM is a Dual Phase Model that combines the Dissolved Phase (Haldane) and Free Phases (Bubble). Physiological Factors such as Age and Exertion Level may be Input by the User. Additional settings are also provided to set the Conservatism Level.
The OLED measures 2.4″ (61 mm) with overall dimensions of the Computer (L x W x D) 6.5″ x 2.6″ x 1.4″ (16.5 x 6.6 x 3.5 cm) and weighing 11.2 oz (317 g) making for a Lightweight, Sleek Compact Design. The Computers Quick-Disconnect Hose is a 5/8″ (8 mm) Kevlar Reinforced Slim-Line Design with 7/16″ Threaded end. The Cobalt Computers Operational Depth is 330′ (100 meters) with an Air Pressure Display of 5,000 psi (344 bars). Computer has a 12/24 Hour Time Display with Date Function, Temperature Function, is Automatically Altitude Adjustable to 10,000′ (3,048 meters) and can be set for Imperial or Metric Measurements. The Atomic Aquatics Cobalt Air Integrated Air/NITROX Dive Computer comes with a Full Color Comprehensive Owner’s Manual, AC Charger, USB Cable, USB/Charger Adapter, Compass Calibration Tray and is covered by a 12 month limited warranty.
Atomic – Blade Open-Heel Fins
Atomic Aquatics gives you choices to meet your dive needs and personal swimming style. BladeFins are designed to deliver…
Power and thrust that only a paddle fin design can provide divers to cruise through the water.
Unique structural engineering combines both Power-Loop Monocoque and Frame Rail designs to maximize kicking power.
Vertical stabilizers on fin tips keep the fin tracking straight up and down with every kick.
Wicked fin and buckle styling for a distinctive look that perfectly complements the Atomic VENOM mask and SV Series snorkel
Atomic – SV2 Flex Snorkel
The SV2 combines the same Scupper Valve lower section with the sleek and effective SV2 Semi-Dry top. The SV2 Semi-Dry top horizontal vents (1) are engineered to diffuse splashed water that would normally freely enter the snorkel top. The small gaps between the vanes (2) of the vent restrict water speed and droplet size and permit most of the splashed water to exit the special vents (3) without entering the breathing tube. Thus, you get less water in your snorkel. The SV2 is the perfect answer for rough or choppy water conditions.
Atomic – SV1 Flex Snorkel
A Snorkel that is Easy to Clear is Low in Profile and one that stays Dryer inside is what you are looking for. SV stand for Scupper Valve, also known as a One-Way-Valve. Just like the One-Way-Valve in your Regulator which when you exhale drains water from your regulator the Scupper Valve basically works the same.
The SV1 uses an additional feature that keeps water away from your mouth a Small Tube located just below the Mouthpiece is designed to keep the Breathing Airway path Free of Water Droplets. The Flexible Lower Tube makes the Atomic SV2 Snorkel perfect for Scuba by Automatically-Swinging Out-of-the-Way when you are using your Scuba Regulator. So if you hate to use a snorkel, but want more bottom time this is the solution you are looking for. Snorkel comes with a Quick-Release Snorkel Keeper that has a 30° Rotation/Sliding Adjuster and has a Removable and Replaceable Silicone Mouthpiece. The Atomic SV1 Snorkel is available in Multiple Color Choices and is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The Atomic SV1 Snorkel is commonly used for SCUBA Diving, Snorkeling, Spearfishing, Vacation and more. The Atomic SV1 Snorkel is most used by customers who consider themselves to be a Advanced among others. The Atomic SV1 Snorkel is popular because customers like the following qualities of the Atomic SV1 Snorkel: Comfortable Mouthpiece, Ergonomic Design, Purge Valve.
