            Product Description

What makes Atomic Aquatics New UltraClear Schott Superwite™ glass so special?

Atomic Aquatics revolutionized the dive industry with “UltraClear” lenses. Before UltraClear, all dive mask lenses were made from low-quality float glass with a visible green tint caused by iron particles remaining in the glass after processing. These green iron particles significantly block light transmission through the lens.

All Atomic Aquatics masks utilize a higher quality optical glass that significantly improves underwater vision allowing up to 96% of light transmission-UltraClear glass.

Atomic Aquatics NEWEST UltraClear lens in the VENOM dive mask is made by the Schott Glass Company in Germany. The VENOM gives you the highest purity grade UltraClear glass available. That means you get incredible clarity and high light transmission that isn’t available in other masks-even those who claim to be ultra-clear.

              Scuba Lab Testers Choice

              Atomic SubFrame ARC

The strongest and most indestructible two-window mask ever
The Atomic Aquatics SubFrame Mask is so durable, it carries a Lifetime warranty against frame breakage. The strength comes from the internal frame (subframe) molded directly beneath the surface of the silicone rubber skirt (patent pending). This subframe provides incredible strength and rigidity as well as eliminating the bulky external plastic frame in other masks. A stainless steel retainer locks the lenses in place and provides added strength to the nose bridge area of the mask. A wide field of view and great fit completes the combination of function, style and durability. (US Patent #7,181,778)

              Anti-Reflective Coatings

ARC Lens Technology Elevates UltraClear To A Higher Level
Atomic Aquatics developed ARC (Anti-Reflective Coating) technology to reduce reflected light and actually increase the amount of available light transmitted to a diver’s eyes. The result is a greatly improved transmission of 98% of available light, compared to a loss of more than 14% of light with standard green “float” glass used on the majority of masks on the market.

              What is ARC lens technology?

Anti-Reflective Coatings or “ARC” is a multi-layer metal oxide coating process applied to both sides of the UltraClear lenses. This allows more light to enter the mask by reducing light reflections off the inside and outside surface of the lens. The metal oxide coating is only a few microns thick.

Why do you need ARC technology lenses?

Between 4-14% of light can be reflected back or “lost” by the standard “green float glass” mask lenses used by our competition. ARC technology lenses are especially important for SCUBA divers underwater, where available light is quickly absorbed by the surrounding water.

What is the underwater benefit of ARC for divers?

              • Clearer, crisper vision. You will see more clearly underwater and objects in the distance will become more defined and acute.
              • Increased contrast and clarity.
              • Reduces eyestrain, glare, and prevents ghost images on the viewing area of the lens.
              • An absolute must for night diving, limited visibility conditions, and underwater photographers.

                Cressi – Nano Black Mask

                $86.95 – $111.95

Mask for advanced freediving and spearfishing, designed  to offer an extremely hydrodynamic and compact shape to help divers cut through the water and aid movements in small spaces.
The internal volume is minimal and does not require intentional equalizing.
The swiveling buckles feature micrometric regulation.
                Angled tempered glass lenses.
                Anatomical strap.

The new HDF Mirror lens coatings provide the same benefit as polarized sunglasses, significantly reducing glare. Top side, the lenses protect from the direct sunlight, while underwater they provide a noticeably sharper image and shield the hunter’s eyes from prey.

              • Cressi – Eyes Evolution Crystal Mask

                $119.95

Not only has this new Cressi Crystal Silicone been chosen, with its exceptional softness and comfort, but the entire design of the skirt has followed new rules which allow a point of contact between the mask and the face that has a very open angle.

The mask rests on the face with unprecedented comfort and does not leave any marks on the skin, even after extended use.

Naturally, to obtain such a result the entire structure of the skirt is differentiated, with internal ribs that stiffen the parts of the mask that are most stressed.

The raked lenses(Cressi patent), are quite small and are brought as close to the pupils as possible, so that the already extraordinary visibility of the Matrix is increased by 25%.

The headband uses the exclusive patented Cressi system of double injection of an elastomer on a rigid element and allows the buckles of the strap to be mounted not on the skirt structure, as done by our competitors, but on anindestructible elastic element that tilts on a vertical plane and can be completely bent sideways on a 180° curve.

The thickness of the headband has been reduced to such an extent as to make it practically invisible when the mask is being worn.

              • Mares – Star LiquidSkin SF Mask

                $119.95

LiquidSkin now available on the most compact mask

                • Low internal volume
                • Ideal for apneist too

The geometry of the Star scuba mask was optimized by greatly reducing the distance between the lens and the eyes, working with the angle of the glass and construction of the nose on the skirt. This allows for better vision and perception of distance. Merged with LiquidSkin technology, Star incorporates all the best solutions available on the market.

              • Oceanic – Cyanea Mask

              • ScubaPro – Frameless / Frameless Gorilla Mask

                $165.99 – $174.99

What’s so great about a frameless mask? By eliminating the frame, you create a mask that sits closer to your eyes. This provides a wider field of view to better take in the underwater sights, plus it reduces volume which makes it easier to clear. Also, since there is no frame, the buckles attach directly to the skirt. This enables the mask to fold relatively flat for packing or for slipping into a BC cargo pocket.

The Frameless Gorilla has a slightly larger and wider lens in a matte finish. Single lens mask featuring a unique lens and skirt assembly without a frame. A new SCUBAPRO classic for professionals.

                • Frameless single-lens design provides an expansive field of view while reducing volume.
                • Soft silicone skirt uses a double-seal system for a comfortable, leak-proof fit.
                • Push-button buckles attach to tabs on the skirt to optimize range of motion when dialing in fit.
                • Buckle tabs are flexible, enabling the mask to be folded flat for traveling.
                • Wide headband allows for a comfortable fit against the back of the head.
                • Available in black or white.

              • ScubaPro – Synergy 2 Twin Trufit

                $169.99 – $191.99

A superior mask must provide an expansive field of view and it must keep water out, but most of all, it must be comfortable. The SYNERGY2 TWIN TRUFIT hits all of these performance targets, but where it really shines is in the comfort department.

The key to its comfort can be found in its new-generation Trufit skirt, which is actually two skirts: the main skirt offers a thin and soft silicone material for the best possible fit, seal and comfort against the skin, while the second, smaller skirt on top provides support and rigidity where needed.

                • New-generation Trufit Technology design uses two skirts to create a comfortable, watertight seal.
                • Main skirt offers a thin and soft silicone material for the best possible fit, seal and comfort against the skin.
                • Second smaller skirt on top provides support and rigidity where needed.
                • Push-button buckles attach to tabs on the skirt to optimize range of motion when dialing in fit.
                • Buckle tabs are flexible, enabling the mask to be folded flat for traveling.
                • A choice of black or clear skirts lets you match your mask to your individual diving style.
                • Mask frame is spray painted for that premium look, in a choice of blue, red, yellow, black and pink.
                • A mirrored lens option delivers a glare-free view of the underwater world.
