If you want to find out but are not quite ready to take the plunge into a scuba certification course, then Discover Scuba Diving is for you! This intro to the world of scuba will let you try it and see if you like it. Our version of this program is conducted in a safe and fun pool environment.
While not an actual scuba certification, Discover Scuba Diving will teach you how to use scuba equipment in both shallow and deep waters and allow you to get a quick and easy taste of what it is like to explore the underwater world.

Our Open Water Referral (eLearning + Pool) Course facilitates this seamless transition.
Included in this course are all necessary materials, a referral signed by your instructor, classroom and pool sessions with your instructor, and complete scuba gear rentals, including mask, fins, and snorkel for your pool training. This allows you to experience the benefits of high-quality gear before making a purchase, with the added bonus of a $50 coupon towards your first gear acquisition. Rest assured, there are no hidden fees—everything is transparent.

**Please allow enough time to review the materials before you come to class. For eLearning students, the approximate duration of the online theory is 6-8 hours. If you answer “YES” to any of the questions in the Medical Questionnaire, please allow enough time to obtain a physician’s signed approval.**

Enriched Air Diver

The Enriched Air Diver course (Basic Nitrox) is our most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.
If you’re a (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course. Note that in some regions the minimum age is older than 12.
Can’t make it to class? We’re flexible! Choose the Elearning option and contact the store to schedule a “Quick Review” with an instructor at your convenience.

Sidemount Diver
$299.00 – $499.00Having scuba tanks on your back isn’t a requirement for exploring the underwater world. Many scuba divers have discovered the joy of mounting cylinders on their sides. Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. Plus, you don’t have to walk with heavy cylinders on your back – just enter the water, clip them on and go. Sound interesting? Sign up for the Sidemount Diver Specialty course.
If you’re an Open Water Diver who is at least 15 years old, you can enroll in a Sidemount Diver course.
The TDI Sidemount Diver Course is the ideal specialty for any diver wishing to use this increasingly popular equipment configuration; either as a stand-alone course OR in conjunction with one of TDI’s other open circuit technical specialties such as Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, Trimix, Advanced Trimix, and Advanced Wreck. If this course is combined, the requirements for BOTH courses must be met. The TDI Sidemount Diver course teaches students how to utilize side-mounted primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back-mounted method.

Equipment Specialist Course
$150.00 – $200.00Don’t miss a dive due to minor issues with your scuba diving equipment. Whether it’s a missing o-ring, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, the Equipment Specialist course teaches you to manage basic repairs and adjustments. You’ll also learn more about how your gear works, making you more comfortable with it and better prepared to take care of your investment.
If you’re at least 10 years old and certified as a (Junior) Scuba Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Equipment Specialist course.

Emergency Oxygen Provider
$100.00 – $149.99Knowing how and when to use emergency oxygen is a great skill to have and means you’re ready to help others should the need arise. Becoming an Emergency Oxygen Provider lets you breathe easy knowing that you can recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen, and are prepared to offer aid.
There are no prerequisites, age restrictions or water sessions required for this course – it’s open to everyone. Scuba divers, snorkelers and anyone who is around divers – boat crew, lifeguards, etc. – will benefit from having this training.

Full Face Mask Diver
$150.00The Full Face Mask course prepares you to dive with a full face mask. The course covers basic safety, technical and practical knowledge necessary to be a competent full face mask diver and feel comfortable using your system. You will participate in an academic session to learn the features of full face masks, gain familiarity with the system in the pool, and finish by demonstrating skills in the open water to gain your full face mask certification specialty card.
If you’re a (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Full Face Mask specialty course.
