The Full Face Mask course prepares you to dive with a full face mask. The course covers basic safety, technical and practical knowledge necessary to be a competent full face mask diver and feel comfortable using your system. You will participate in an academic session to learn the features of full face masks, gain familiarity with the system in the pool, and finish by demonstrating skills in the open water to gain your full face mask certification specialty card.
If you’re a (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Full Face Mask specialty course.

Open Water Certification Dives
$200.00 – $400.00Have you already completed the class and pool training less than 1 year ago? All you need now is your 4 open water checkout dives. The 4 open water checkout dives have to be done out in the open waters, such as a lake, river or ocean. We do our open water dives in a safe and fun environment, Gulliver’s Lake, where we built our very own 20×20 training platform for you to use and feel more comfortable while completing your skills. During the open water checkout dives, your Instructor will be testing you on the skills that you have learned during the pool portion of the Class & Pool course. Once you have successfully completed all the skills, you will be issued the Open Water Diver certification card. How exciting is that?!

Welcome to the renowned Open Water Diver course! At Aquarius Scuba, many of our students opt for the convenience of conducting their academic and confined water training locally before heading elsewhere for their 4 Open Water certification dives. Our Open Water Referral (eLearning + Pool) Course facilitates this seamless transition.
Included in this course are all necessary materials, a referral signed by your instructor, classroom and pool sessions with your instructor, and complete scuba gear rentals, including mask, fins, and snorkel for your pool training. This allows you to experience the benefits of high-quality gear before making a purchase, with the added bonus of a $50 coupon towards your first gear acquisition. Rest assured, there are no hidden fees—everything is transparent.

**Please allow enough time to review the materials before you come to class. For eLearning students, the approximate duration of the online theory is 6-8 hours. If you answer “YES” to any of the questions in the Medical Questionnaire, please allow enough time to obtain a physician’s signed approval.**

Peak Performance Buoyancy
$150.00Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this, too. The Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level.
(Junior) Open Water Divers or higher, who are at least 10 years old, are eligible to take the Peak Performance Buoyancy course.

Digital Underwater Photographer & Videographer
$150.00 – $287.00Underwater photography and videography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and with so many underwater cameras to choose from, it has become easier and more fun than ever to capture images and videos of your underwater scuba adventures. The Digital Underwater Photographer & Videographer course gets you going quickly, whether you use a point-and-shoot camera, a GoPro, or a sophisticated DSLR like the pros. Video is the best way to share the sights, sounds, motion and dynamics of the underwater world. If you want to get the best clips and also learn to edit your scuba diving stories to share with friends through social media, then this specialty course is for you. Learn to create underwater videos that are interesting, entertaining and worth watching again and again.
(Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 10 years old are eligible to take the Digital Underwater Photographer & Videographer course.
Because underwater photography and videography is also popular with snorkelers, there is an option for avid snorkelers and skin divers to complete the course. Check with our dive shop if this interests you.

Deep Diver
$200.00The lure of the deep. There’s something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving. Sometimes it’s a wreck that attracts you below 18 metres/60 feet, and on wall dives it may be a giant fan or sponge. Whatever it is, to scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 metres/130 feet, you should take the Deep Diver Specialty course.
If you’ve earned the Adventure Diver rating or higher, and you’re at least 15 years old, you can enroll in the Deep Diver course.
