    Have you already completed the class and pool training less than 1 year ago? All you need now is your 4 open water checkout dives. The 4 open water checkout dives have to be done out in the open waters, such as a lake, river or ocean. We do our open water dives in a safe and fun environment, Gulliver’s Lake, where we built our very own 20×20 training platform for you to use and feel more comfortable while completing your skills. During the open water checkout dives, your Instructor will be testing you on the skills that you have learned during the pool portion of the Class & Pool course.     Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but are not quite ready to take the plunge into a scuba certification course, then Discover Scuba Diving is for you! This intro to the world of scuba will let you try it and see if you like it. Our version of this program is conducted in a safe and fun pool environment.

    While not an actual scuba certification, Discover Scuba Diving will teach you how to use scuba equipment in both shallow and deep waters and allow you to get a quick and easy taste of what it is like to explore the underwater world.

    *All participants must complete and sign the Medical and Liability Release forms. If you answer any of the questions with a YES, you will need to provide a note from a physician stating that you can scuba dive, before the pool session.*

  • First Aid Instructor

    $299.00 – $439.00

    CPR and first aid are key skills that are important to everyone, not just scuba divers. As a First Aid Instructor, you teach skills based on internationally recognized emergency care guidelines, and you can offer courses to anyone. The great thing about First Aid courses is they make learning easy by providing a comfortable environment to practice emergency care skills. Your students finish the course feeling confident with their new skills and ready to help someone in need.

    The only requirements are that you’re at least 18 years old and have First Aid Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. A First Aid Instructor rating is required to become an Open Water Scuba Instructor, but you don’t have to wait until you’re ready to go pro. You can complete or refresh this training during your Instructor training.

  • Divemaster

    Love scuba diving? Want to share it with others on a whole new level? Take the Divemaster course and do what you love to do as a career. Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.

    The Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with an Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.

    As a Divemaster, you’ll lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training. Whether you want to work at a faraway dive destination or close to home at a local dive shop, the adventure of a lifetime awaits you.

    Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old may enroll in the Divemaster course. You also need to have:

    • (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.
    • A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
    • At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification.

    Note that qualifying certifications from other diver training organization may apply – ask your Instructor.

    Course Duration:
    The divemaster course is conducted at your own pace and schedule. This course can easily be completed within 3-4 weeks, especially during our busy summer dive season.

  • Advanced Nitrox & Decompression Procedures

  • Diver Propulsion Vehicle Course

    $199.00

    Diver propulsion vehicles (DPV) offer a thrilling way for scuba divers to see a lot of underwater territory in a short amount of time. They scoot you through the water allowing you to glide over reefs, buzz around a large wreck or weave through a kelp forest. Whether making a shore or boat dive, a DPV is a great way to see more and have fun doing it.

    If you’re at least 12 years old and a (Junior) Open Water Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Diver Propulsion Vehicle course.
