This intro to the world of scuba will let you try it and see if you like it. Our version of this program is conducted in a safe and fun pool environment.
While not an actual scuba certification, Discover Scuba Diving will teach you how to use scuba equipment in both shallow and deep waters and allow you to get a quick and easy taste of what it is like to explore the underwater world.

The Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle. It is the gateway to new adventures underwater and a life changing experience.
The fun part about this course is… well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible! You breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver. During this course, you’ll complete the theory and pool training of basic scuba principles. You will then have up to a year to complete 4 checkout dives out in the open water under the direct supervision of your Instructor. Once that’s done, you’re issued your Open Water Diver certification and you are a certified diver for life! Over 70% of the earth is covered with water. It’s a diver’s world out there. Please allow enough time to review the materials before you come to class. For eLearning students, the approximate duration of the online theory is 6-8 hours. If you answer “YES” to any of the questions in the Medical Questionnaire, please allow enough time to obtain a physician’s signed approval.

Dry Suit Diver
$150.00Want to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive dry. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. You will enjoy diving the wrecks of Tobermory and Brockville even more. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.
If you’re at least 10 years old and certified as a (Junior) Open Water Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Dry Suit Diver course.

Equipment Specialist Course
$150.00 – $200.00Don’t miss a dive due to minor issues with your scuba diving equipment. Whether it’s a missing o-ring, wetsuit tear or a broken fin strap, the Equipment Specialist course teaches you to manage basic repairs and adjustments. You’ll also learn more about how your gear works, making you more comfortable with it and better prepared to take care of your investment.
If you’re at least 10 years old and certified as a (Junior) Scuba Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Equipment Specialist course.

Emergency Oxygen Provider
$100.00 – $149.99Knowing how and when to use emergency oxygen is a great skill to have and means you’re ready to help others should the need arise. Becoming an Emergency Oxygen Provider lets you breathe easy knowing that you can recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen, and are prepared to offer aid.
There are no prerequisites, age restrictions or water sessions required for this course – it’s open to everyone. Scuba divers, snorkelers and anyone who is around divers – boat crew, lifeguards, etc. – will benefit from having this training.

Full Face Mask Diver
$150.00The Full Face Mask course prepares you to dive with a full face mask. The course covers basic safety, technical and practical knowledge necessary to be a competent full face mask diver and feel comfortable using your system. You will participate in an academic session to learn the features of full face masks, gain familiarity with the system in the pool, and finish by demonstrating skills in the open water to gain your full face mask certification specialty card.
If you’re a (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Full Face Mask specialty course.
