Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but are not quite ready to take the plunge into a scuba certification course, then Discover Scuba Diving is for you! This intro to the world of scuba will let you try it and see if you like it. Our version of this program is conducted in a safe and fun pool environment.
While not an actual scuba certification, Discover Scuba Diving will teach you how to use scuba equipment in both shallow and deep waters and allow you to get a quick and easy taste of what it is like to explore the underwater world.

Rescue Diver

Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level because you’ll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. Anyone 15 years or older (12 years for Junior Rescue Diver) and in reasonably good health, Open Water Diver, Junior or equivalent certification can participate. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies.
During the in-class, in-pool, and open water sessions you’ll cover, Self-rescue and diver stress, Dive first aid, Emergency management and equipment, Swimming and non-swimming assists, Panicked and non-swimming assists, Underwater problems, Missing diver procedures, Surfacing the unconscious diver, In Water artificial respiration, Egress (exits), First aid procedures for pressure related accidents, Dive accident scenarios.

The fun part about this course is… well, just about all of it because learning to dive is incredible! You breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver. During this course, you’ll complete the theory and pool training of basic scuba principles. You will then have up to a year to complete 4 checkout dives out in the open water under the direct supervision of your Instructor. Once that’s done, you’re issued your Open Water Diver certification and you are a certified diver for life! Over 70% of the earth is covered with water. It’s a diver’s world out there. Boat Diver
$100.00Much of the world’s best scuba diving is accessible only by boat. Whether you’ve never made a boat dive or you’ve logged dozens, the Boat Diver Specialty course will benefit you because boats in various parts of the world do things differently. Scuba diving from a boat is fun and relatively easy because you usually descend directly onto your dive site.
If you’re a (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 10 years old, you can enroll in the Boat Diver course.

Diver Propulsion Vehicle Course
$199.00Diver propulsion vehicles (DPV) offer a thrilling way for scuba divers to see a lot of underwater territory in a short amount of time. They scoot you through the water allowing you to glide over reefs, buzz around a large wreck or weave through a kelp forest. Whether making a shore or boat dive, a DPV is a great way to see more and have fun doing it.
If you’re at least 12 years old and a (Junior) Open Water Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Diver Propulsion Vehicle course.

Drift Diver
$150.00The Drift Diver Specialty course teaches you how to enjoy going with the flow as you scuba dive down rivers and use ocean currents to glide along. It feels like flying – except that you’re underwater using scuba equipment. Drift diving can be relaxing and exhilarating at the same time. If this sounds like fun, then the Drift Diver course is for you.
If you’re a (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Drift Diver specialty course.

Emergency Oxygen Provider
$100.00 – $149.99Knowing how and when to use emergency oxygen is a great skill to have and means you’re ready to help others should the need arise. Becoming an Emergency Oxygen Provider lets you breathe easy knowing that you can recognize scuba diving illnesses treatable with emergency oxygen, and are prepared to offer aid.
There are no prerequisites, age restrictions or water sessions required for this course – it’s open to everyone. Scuba divers, snorkelers and anyone who is around divers – boat crew, lifeguards, etc. – will benefit from having this training.
