Full Face Mask Diver

The Full Face Mask course prepares you to dive with a full face mask. The course covers basic safety, technical and practical knowledge necessary to be a competent full face mask diver and feel comfortable using your system. You will participate in an academic session to learn the features of full face masks, gain familiarity with the system in the pool, and finish by demonstrating skills in the open water to gain your full face mask certification specialty card.

If you’re a (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Full Face Mask specialty course.

    Have you already completed the class and pool training less than 1 year ago? All you need now is your 4 open water checkout dives. The 4 open water checkout dives have to be done out in the open waters, such as a lake, river or ocean. We do our open water dives in a safe and fun environment, Gulliver’s Lake, where we built our very own 20×20 training platform for you to use and feel more comfortable while completing your skills. During the open water checkout dives, your Instructor will be testing you on the skills that you have learned during the pool portion of the Class & Pool course.     So, you’ve already had a taste of scuba diving with the Open Water Diver certification, and you want to explore more? Well, look no further. The Advanced Open Water course will increase your enjoyment and proficiency in diving while building on your skills in a variety of diving environments. This course will add to your existing skills and increase your confidence in the water. It is after taking this course that many get truly hooked on diving! The shift from recreation to passion happens here, as more of the ocean becomes available to you and you feel more comfortable, confident, and safe.

    Earn your Advanced Open Water Diver in a weekend locally or in sunny Cuba on a week’s vacation!

    Having scuba tanks on your back isn’t a requirement for exploring the underwater world. Many scuba divers have discovered the joy of mounting cylinders on their sides. Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. Plus, you don’t have to walk with heavy cylinders on your back – just enter the water, clip them on and go. Sound interesting? Sign up for the Sidemount Diver Specialty course.

    If you’re an Open Water Diver who is at least 15 years old, you can enroll in a Sidemount Diver course.

    The TDI Sidemount Diver Course is the ideal specialty for any diver wishing to use this increasingly popular equipment configuration; either as a stand-alone course OR in conjunction with one of TDI’s other open circuit technical specialties such as Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, Trimix, Advanced Trimix, and Advanced Wreck. If this course is combined, the requirements for BOTH courses must be met. The TDI Sidemount Diver course teaches students how to utilize side-mounted primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back-mounted method.

  • Dry Suit Diver

    $150.00

    Want to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive dry. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. You will enjoy diving the wrecks of Tobermory and Brockville even more. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.

    If you’re at least 10 years old and certified as a (Junior) Open Water Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Dry Suit Diver course.

    Diver propulsion vehicles (DPV) offer a thrilling way for scuba divers to see a lot of underwater territory in a short amount of time. They scoot you through the water allowing you to glide over reefs, buzz around a large wreck or weave through a kelp forest. Whether making a shore or boat dive, a DPV is a great way to see more and have fun doing it.

    If you’re at least 12 years old and a (Junior) Open Water Diver or higher, you can enroll in the Diver Propulsion Vehicle course.
